Work description
The South Downs Way National Trail (SDW) is a 100 mile long-distance path that spans the entire length of the South Downs National Park. It is a mainly off-road route that is comprised of public rights of way and is well used by walkers, cyclists, and equestrians all-year round. We have identified two sections of path that have deteriorated from heavy use and surface water erosion. These sections require repair and drainage work to maintain the high standard of access along the National Trail.
