## Description

PHE have awarded a Contract to Qiagen Ltd for the capital purchase of two Pyrosequencers\. This was a Direct Award under Lot 2 of the PHE Microbiology Framework\. Qiagen Ltd are the sole manufacturer and distributor of Pyrosequencers and hold the intellectual property rights to the "sequnecing by sythesis technoloy" \(Pyrosequencing\)\.
