Description
Watford Borough Council (WBC) is undertaking a decarbonisation project aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. The council have recently secured Public Sectors Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) funding for three sites. •The Palace Theatre •Orbital Community Centre •Harebreaks Community Centre Each site has specific decarbonisation goals, including the installation of air-source heat pumps and upgrades to mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) and BMS systems. These upgrades are essential for transitioning to sustainable energy solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance and meeting the unique needs of each location. Other works are also required to improve building efficiencies which include insulation upgrades, roof repairs and window replacements. The community centres are standalone buildings, the works required for these will be developed to a RIBA Stage 4 by the M&E consultant in order to issue out to tender. The Council will be tendering tendering as three lots with this Expression of Interest relevant to all three lots. If your organisation is interested, please respond by completing and submitting this Expression of Interest document with details of your organisation and case studies demonstrating the delivery of similar commissions for other authorities. The Expression of Interest contains the details for each site. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
