ORE Catapult has invested heavily in Solid Edge over many years and already several user licenses in general use across the organisation in its Glasgow, Blyth and Hull facilities. As the business expands and it opens other satellite offices eg Cornwall and Pembroke Docks, there is a need to increase the number of licences to maintain consistency across the business and to ensure there is a single method of approving and storing engineering drawings.

Whilst it is recognised that other CAD systems are available, ORE Catapult has standardised on Solid Edge, and for compatability reasons only Solid Edge can be utilised
