## Description

As part of our significant savings and efficiencies challenge, Natural England \(NE\) have highlighted an opportunity to achieve savings by better managing their National Nature Reserves \(NNRs\)\. NE manages 2/3rds of NNRs across England with the rest being managed by organisations such as the RSPB, National Trust and Local Wildlife Trusts\. NE spends approx\. £10m a year managing these sites and NE are keen to reduce this cost through exploring savings in areas such as their Operating Model, Sustainable Financing, Commercial Opportunities and Asset Management\.
