## Description

The service that the contractors will provide is to support the programmes of work carried out by BTS, who manage social housing maintenance for the people of Luton which is of high quality and sustainable to reduce poverty in the community\. BTS manage the needs of the internal client \(department\) within the Council\. The department will come to BTS with a scheme, full design and considerations and a specification is produced from the information provided\. The confirmed specification is then checked by the Quantity Surveyors and the first ranked Provider will be asked to provide a fully comprehensive quotation based on the specification and timescales provided\. If they are unable to provide a quotation then the work will be offered to the contingents\. The most cost effective quotation who can work to the relevant timescales will be given the work\.
