Open Access Revenue Generation Study - Data Processing and Technical Advice

The objective of this study is to enable ORR to determine with greater confidence the degree of revenue generation that can be attributed to open access entry. Having undertaken some initial analysis of the impact open access operator market entry has had on industry revenues. We now intend to undertake a more detailed study to building on our initial results to provide a more robust estimates. We will do so by taking a more disaggregate approach to our analysis, for example by ticket type and operator level impact. We also plan to extend our data sets and further refine our model specification.
