Legal Support SoLR Court Applications

Description

To advise on and provide legal input into the process for seeking the court's appointment of a special administrator pursuant to section 156 of the Energy Act 2004 (as applied to ESC administration by section 96 of the Energy Act 2011). The external legal team will also be required to advise on commercial solutions presented by failing suppliers and their investors. The team may also be asked to provide support for SoLR processes, including managing court applications, liaising with failing suppliers' professional advisers, working with counsel and advising policy colleagues
