## Description

The tender is for the provision of resurfacing of carriageways\. The works comprise of the milling off and resurfacing of carriageways, together with minor lining, localised minor footway and drainage repairs and adjustment of associated ironwork, principally within the City of Manchester, but they can be anywhere within Greater Manchester and on any classification of road\. Additional information: The Council is using the portal known as The Chest \(www\.the-chest\.org\.uk\) where tenderers will need to register their details\. Once registered, tenderers will be emailed along-in and password which will allow applicants to gain access to the tender documents\. Tenderers will need to electronically submit the completed tender documentation by Monday 18\.5\.2020 11:00 a\.m\. Any clarification queries will also need to be submitted via The Chest website\. The successful tenderer\(s\) will be required to actively participate in the economic and social regeneration of the locality of the delivery of the contract\. Selection and award criteria, specification requirements and contract performance conditions may relate to social and environmental considerations\.
