The provision of Pharmacy Stock Control System

Originally procured because SASH served notice in 2018 and SCFT require their own inpatient pharmacy to supply medicines. We opened the dispensary in November 2019 and the staff within medicines management have been using this system for almost 5 years. During the roll out of EPMA, the pharmacy stock control system Careflow medicines management (Formally Careflow, Wellsky and JAC) was integrated with TPP System 1 to create a closed loop ordering system for medications. This was a significant financial investment. This also improved patient care and safety surrounding medicines being supplied correctly and on time.
