Plymouth Materials Characterisation Project (PMCP) To Complete the Project Evaluation (Summative Assessment)

Description

A tender opportunity has arisen to provide evaluation services to the PMCP (Plymouth Materials Characterisation Project) at the mid to end stages of the project, building on an initial early-stage evaluation report, at the University of Plymouth. Overall objective of the evaluation services In addition to the outputs and outcomes, the evaluator must ensure that the research considers the following themes: • The achievements of the project in providing an outreach and engagement service for SMEs to engage them in using university research facilities, knowledge transfer and previously inaccessible technology • The performance of the project in promoting to SMEs the benefits of investing in R&D to develop new products and processes • The experience of the project in providing technical support, academic expertise and process knowledge to SMEs and any lessons which have emerged from this • The success of the project in encouraging female participation in the project in order to help address the current gender imbalance in the science and technology sector. • Lessons for the future If you would like to express your interest please email claire.pearce@plymouth.ac.uk at the University of Plymouth who is the Project Manager.
