Work description
Medway Council require a provider for a 12-bed psychologically informed environment (PIE) hostel for vulnerable homeless adults who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping/homelessness. This hostel will include 24-hour wraparound trauma-Informed support from a team of specialist substance misuse and mental health staff, including a full-time psychologist (trained in PIE) who will lead in the design and implementation of the service.
This exciting project aims to provide a lifeline for those with the highest need in Medway, in particular people with entrenched substance use and co-occurring mental and/or physical health needs, with a core aim of providing sustained accommodation while supporting service users to make positive lifestyle changes and eventually into more independent accommodation.
