Market Testing: Care Home Block Contracts

Brighton and Hove City Council (the Council), in partnership with Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG), invites expressions of interest from providers interested in offering Care Home and Care Home with Nursing beds within the boundaries of Brighton and Hove.

The Council is interested in entering block contracting arrangements whereby availability and funding would be guaranteed for an initial period of five years.

Please note that this is not a tender process. The Council is currently investigating the level of interest, availability and indicative costings for this requirement and this process does not constitute an offer of contract from either party.

A further process providing full detail on the contractual arrangements will be conducted following the conclusion of the market testing exercise.

Requirements: • Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration; • Guaranteed provision of up to thirty beds within the boundaries of Brighton and Hove (no minimum); • To start placements as vacancies occur from autumn 2016 and build up capacity as beds become available;
