## Description

the council must ensure that it has processes in place so that data breaches are reported and investigated in a timely manner and reported to the ICO within 72 hours\. Use of a case management system specifically designed to manage this work has meant that some of the time-consuming tasks have been automated\. This has meant the IG team has been able to take on more requests corporately and there has been an overall increase in compliance\.
