Request for a Proposal for Contract for Consultancy to support the sustainable transport Brief

A South Oxfordshire refined options consultation was undertaken in February 2015, and to support this an Evaluation of Transport Impact study was undertaken. This examined the transport impact of a number of land-use options under consideration. Consultation on a Local Plan Preferred Options Document (regulation 18 consultation) is currently being undertaken, to be followed by regulation 19 consultation, currently planned for early 2017. To support this, further transport evidence base work is required to test the cumulative impacts of the preferred development scenario. This includes further work assessing transport sustainability and access improvements, which is the scope of work set out. This study, in parallel with the strategic transport modelling being undertaken in association with the County Council will set the transport evidence base to support allocation of homes and jobs within the new South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
