Work description

This call-off contract is for the day-to-day operational management and development of the NHS Digital Identity & Access Management (IAM) Platform which is used across a range of NHS services to ensure that only authorised individuals (using a Role Based Access Control model) can access patient related and other services. This call-off contract is to support and take appropriate responsibility for the delivery of the Buyer's outcomes related to the effective and efficient operation of its Identity and Access Management Platform via its DevOps team. This includes both its day-to-day operations (running the service including incident management utilising the Buyer's Service Management toolkit) and ongoing maintenance within agreed service level agreements to maintain 24x7x365 user availability e.g. authentication, as well as the development and safe delivery of appropriate work items from the Buyer's prioritised backlog.

The Initial Contract Value is £23,000,000.00 (£28,750,000.00 including the optional extension period).

VARIATION

The value of this variation is £13,800,000.00. This variation is being made in accordance with Regulation 72(1)(b) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.

The scope of services provided under the contract remain the same, with the variation facilitating a continuation of support while a re-procurement and transition to a new agreement continues. The Total Contract Value is £42,550,000.00 and the Expiry Date has been extended to 17/08/2027.
