Description
HMRC has an ambition to become a best-in-class custodian of data and develop the department's data exploitation capabilities to drive substantive benefits to the business and the customer. A number of boards and resources, including the Data Governance Board, have been developed to help push this work forward, but the department currently lacks a clear roadmap detailing how to transform its approach to data management and exploitation. HMRC subsequently sought a partner to drive the development of the 'data culture' in the organisation and make a series of recommendations around the governance, capability, and tooling the organisation will need to develop in order to drive value through its data.
