Supply of Rigid Inflatable Boat

Dyfed Powys Police are inviting expressions of interest in relation to the supply of a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB). The RIB will operate as a patrol vessel and will have counter terrorism responsibilities and must have the ability to: • Respond to emergencies at high speed – 40-50 knots • Seat 6-8 firearms officers • Pace other vessels • Lock onto other vessels • Deploy firearms officers onto ships, ladders, jetties and other marine structures. The vessel may also provide support and respond to marine emergencies in the region. The vessel will operate in and around the Milford Haven Waterway and the coastal approaches.
