Work description

This tender is for the supply, installation and support of a Network Access Control solution to complement our current network. Our current wireless manufacture is HPE Aruba, and consists of two wireless controllers (Aruba7240XM) and two Mobility masters (ArubaMM-HW-5K) running version 8.5.0.5. Our current wired network provider is Cisco. This additional equipment needs to address two main areas, improving visitor access to our network and to support segmentation of commercial tenants connected via wired and wireless.

The Smart Innovation Hub is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds England Growth Programme 2014-2020, Staffordshire County Council, Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire Enterprise Partnership, the University of Keele and the Midlands Engine Single Growth Fund. The Network Access Control Solution for the Denise Coates Foundation Building (Smart Innovation Hub) is also part funded by ERDF.

Given the need for one supplier to co-ordinate delivery of all goods and installation required , the contract has not been divided into lots.

The estimated budget is £47,947.80 excluding VAT.
