Central Park Phase 1

Description

This contract is for a creative, landscape led, design team to provide a coordinated package that delivers the following works: 1. Expanding the skatepark for additional skate, bmx and parkour; 2. Improve access to and within the events field; 3. Improve pedestrian links between the skate park, play area and main avenues; 4. Remodel and enhance the play area to cater for older and younger children; 5. Construct a new café; 6. Refurbish and possibly extend the bowling green building to accommodate a wider range of users; 7. Construct 4 new tennis courts behind the bowling green building; 8. Refurbish or possibly reconstruct the changing facilities near the baseball pitch;
