17/09 Compliance Management Services (Asbestos, Legionella & Fire Risk)

Tamworth Borough Council (the 'Council') owns and manages approximately 4300 domestic properties within the borough together with a number of non-housing premises. To ensure that it meets its statutory obligations under the relevant health and safety legislation, the Council is seeking to establish a contract for the provision of compliance management services that encompass the surveying and management of asbestos, legionella and fire risks within its housing, non-housing and sheltered stock. The resultant contract shall be for a term of five (5) years with an option to extend for a further two (2) years upon satisfactory service delivery, performance and the agreement of both parties.
