## Description

The Student Health and Wellbeing Service at Newcastle University provides information, advice and guidance on a wide range of student support issues to enable all students to maximise their potential whilst at University\. The Service also provides some specialist in-house support to students with specific learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder and mental health issues\. In the academic year 2018-19 over 45 students accessed non-medical helper support funded by the University\. Of the students who were provided with non-medical help support, over 4,800 hours of support was delivered to enable access to learning\. This was split between 1300 hours \(Study Assistants\) and 3500 \(Support Assistants\)\.
