Retender for an Open Space, Sport and Recreation Strategy

Wyre Forest District Council wishes to retender to engage a suitably qualified and experienced consultancy to develop an Open Space, Sport and Recreation Strategy on its behalf as part of its evidence base for the Local Plan Review. The timeline and budget have been amended for this project. The Council is seeking to reconcile the need to produce a Sport England compliant Strategy with the demands of its Local Plan Review timetable. Accordingly, the Council is reissuing this tender with a revised timeline which seeks to accommodate both requirements. Consultants are advised that this reconciliation will be a key issue in the Council’s consideration of tenders and consultants are asked to note that the end date of 31st March 2017 cannot be revised any further. The deadline for submissions to Pro-contract Due North is 12 noon Friday 12th August 2016. http://procontract.due-north.com Additional information: The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Due North Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise. To gain access to the Invitation to Quote document, tenderers will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, tenderers will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the tender documents. Tenderers will need to electronically submit an expression of interest and an electronic copy of the ITQ will be sent as an attachment.
