## Description

The Council has appointed a contractor to refurbish an existing play area located in a corner of Kings Park, adjacent to Kings Park Academy Primary School and pre-school provision\. The vision of the Council is to create an exciting and challenging destination playground full of character to encourage being outdoors and increased movement, aimed at an age range from toddler to approximately 14 years of age\. The playground improvements are made possible by a grant from NHS Public Health to promote activity levels of residents in Boscombe and surroundings\. We are also working in conjunction with the RSPB who are promoting Connecting With Nature which provides our theme\.
