In the Arts and Cultural sector those providing learning and engagement programmes and activities struggle to raise the ambition and the profile of work by, with and for children and young people, both within their organisations and the sector.

A bespoke development programme is required for learning and engagement professionals because they are often:

• overlooked in the competition for the few leadership programmes available in the cultural sector

• managing the impact of organisational change in their teams and in senior management teams without training or support
