Work description
Goldsmiths University of London is based in New Cross in South East London and is home to the library building, also called the Rutherford Building. This is one of the main buildings of the campus with library facilities in operation 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The time allocated for this plant room strip out and installation is at a time that the library is in usage therefore a duty of care to noise is to be taken very seriously.
The College is inviting contractors to bid for the M&E Refurbishment of the primary LTHW system and HWS located in the plant room on the top floor of the Library. The full strip out of the library primary side is required with some equipment to be retained as highlighted in this document and associated drawings. Following strip out, boilers, heat exchangers and ancillary equipment is to be supplied, installed and commissioned.
