## Description

The project will evaluate and quantify the societal and economic impact of NERC funded research, with a focus on the impact delivered via: • The benefits that NERC science provides to the UK public sector, through increased effectiveness of public services; • The benefits to UK companies through smart policies; and • The benefits, in terms of economically measurable environmental improvements, that policies based on NERC science generates for wider UK\. International impacts can be part of the evaluation, in so far as it is possible to quantify their benefits to the UK\.
