Food Festival Curator

The annual Bishop Auckland Food Festival (BAFF) features a popular programme of chefs, demonstrations, masterclasses, outreach activity and entertainment, which attracted over 30,000 visitors in 2024. Seaham Food Festival (SFF) launched in 2019, followed a similar model, and replicated the success of BAFF. Developing these festivals requires a curator with unique skills in raising the profile of the events, reaching greater numbers of people, actively engaging the community, contacts with celebrity chefs and ability to drive revenue. They require industry-specific experience and contacts, and knowledge of event delivery. The requirement is for Bishop Auckland Food Festival and Seaham Food Festivals for 2025, with an option to call off in 2026.
