## Description

The National Physical Laboratory \(NPL\) is the UK's National Measurement Institute and is a world-leading centre of excellence in developing and applying the most accurate measurement standards, science, and technology available\. The existing equipment at NPL is near the end of its useful life and a replacement is required\. The measurement of fluorescence signals underpins a wide range of techniques in the UK Life Science & Health sector\. For metrological support of this NPL requires capabilities in fluorescence spectroscopy that are ideally traceably calibrated\.
