Description
In April 2017, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council was successful with a funding application to the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to undertake a wide range of habitat and nature improvement projects across the borough. All of the proposed schemes are located in the urban areas of Solihull, and Olton Jubilee Park is one of the sites targeted in the programme of works. The scheme for this park is to de-canalise the Hatchford Brook by removing concrete slabs with some excavation to widen parts and planting wetland species to provide greater ecological diversity.
