Direct Award via YPO Framework - Insurance Brokerage Framework and Insurance Placement DPS. The original award notice had the value of contract at £955,000. Changes to availability of options and costs of insurance provision to the social housing sector since the contract began have caused need to issue notice of modification of the contract during its term without yet readvertising the opportunity. This is to allow us to use the contract at no more than a 50% increase of value of the contract (from £955,000 to £1,432,500). Change of supplier would not be practicable before that without substantial inconvenience/duplication of cost. This need for modification could not have been foreseen by the contracting authority acting diligently.
