Independent Advocacy

Cornwall Council and the Council of the Isles of Scilly have a statutory duty to provide Independent Advocacy to meet the eligible needs of the people of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The provision for these services will be provided under a legal Framework Agreement. The Framework Agreement for will for a term of 3 years with the option to extend for one additional year. There are 4 separate Lots under the Framework Agreement. Service providers may bid for any or all of the Lots.

For Lot 1, 3 and 4, one provider will be awarded a place on the Framework Agreement for each of these Lots. The service provider that has the highest overall tender score for each Lot will be awarded the place on the Framework Agreement.

For Lot 2, two service providers will be awarded a place on the Framework Agreement. The two service providers with the highest tender scores will be awarded a place on the Framework Agreement

Lot 1 - Triage for access to independent advocacy service provision and NHS complaints

Lot 2 - Community

Lot 3 - Mental Capacity Community

Lot 4 - Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA)
