C22081 - Hazardous Materials Advisers (HMA) Training / Detection Identification and Monitoring (DIM) Training

The Authority has 12 Flexi Duty Officers that undertake the role of Hazardous Materials Advisers and DIM Advisers. Additional, there are some members of the training team that specialise in hazardous materials. The Authority require these Officers to have HMA Initial training then undertake regular appropriate CPD to maintain their competence in this specialised capability. Once competent as a HMA, Officers will attend a National Resilience course to become a DIM Adviser. Regular and appropriate CPD is also required to maintain these specialist skills.
