In Waltham Forest, healthy weight has been a priority area of work for the Local Authority and our partners for a number of years\. We have recently published a new Healthy Weight Strategy for the next five years - 2023-27 and it focuses on establishing a successful whole systems approach to creating a healthy weight environment for our residents\. An effective pathway of weight management support services is a core component of our approach, sitting alongside a comprehensive programme of prevention activities\.
