## Description

CCS RM1599 Lot2 mini competition\. Shepway District Council \('the Council'\) is seeking tenders from suppliers within RM1599 Lot 2 to supply and maintain Print Room Hardware and Software in the District of Shepway, Kent, during the period 01/04/16 to 31/03/219\. \(i\.e\. 3 years / 36 months\) with a provision to extend by 2 years \(24 months\) to 31/03/2021\. Shepway District Council is looking to renew its Print Room Production printers and associated software\. Print Services currently provide a Central Reprographics Department, Web-to-Print services and Postroom services\. General functions include copying, printing, scanning, finishing \(stapling, folding, binding, laminating, etc\.\), artwork and document amendments, mail and paper provision\. We also provide a very comprehensive transactional data service\. Print Services is also developing a central print queue, to capture and process documents \(adding letter-head details and determining postal class etc\. on the fly\), reducing staff processing time, the need for pre-printed paper and the number of copiers in the Civic Centre\. Currently all our equipment and software is leased\. Shepway District Council now intend to Purchase all hardware and software associated with the contract and enter a five year maintenance and service agreement to include, but not limited to, supplies, repairs, upgrades and training\.
