## Description

This contract is for Engagement & Empowerment of Children, Young People, Parents & Carers\. The aims of the service being commissioned are: • To ensure that children and young people have a voice in the way that services are designed and delivered\. • To continuously improve the services used by children and young people by involving them in their design and review\. The objectives of the service being commissioned are: • To support staff and young people who wish to enter into dialogue to prepare, develop and present their case; • To ensure that there are regular opportunities for active dialogue between young people and staff/managers; • To provide assurance, based upon evidence provided by children and young people that the dialogue is genuine and has resulted in change\. The proposed contract is to be let with an option to extend for a further 2 periods of 24 months each from the actual end date subject to Commissioner and budget approval\.
