Installation and Maintenance of Doors and Door Entry Systems and Maintenance of Assisted Living Equipment. Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced and qualified contractors to: o Design, supply and install communal entrance doors and door entry systems. o To carry out annual checks and provide a 24/7 responsive maintenance service for door entry systems to our Sheltered and General Housing properties. o To carry out annual servicing and provide a 24/7 responsive maintenance service for Assisted Living systems in our Sheltered Housing Schemes. We are seeking a professional and experienced contractor who can display a high level of customer care for our residents while providing an efficient and effective service, It is intended that the Contract is awarded for one year from April 2018, with an option to extend for up to a further year, subject to satisfactory performance and service requirements. Help and Support - The Council will provide as much support and information as it can to help guide you though the Tender process. Questions asked, together with the response, will be made available to all firms quoting, to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all. Deadline for Expressions of Interest and availability of downloading documents is Wednesday 20th December 2017. Completed tenders and attachments should be submitted electronically, by the due date via out 'In-Tend' electronic tendering system. Tenders must be uploaded via the 'My Return' section of the system. Tenders submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered. Your tender must be submitted via the 'In-Tend' system no later than 12 noon on Friday 5th January 2018
