Advice and Mediation Service for Pupils at Risk of Exclusion

Schools Forum has agreed a budget of £30,000 per year to put in place an advice and mediation service that supports parents, senior school staff and governors in working together to reduce the number of fixed term and permanent exclusions in Torbay. The service will be for: (a) Parents of pupils at Primary, Secondary and Special Schools in Torbay (b) Schools in Torbay The service will receive referrals from parents, schools and Local Authority staff. The service will support the referrer by: (a) Advising on the duties relating to the exclusions process (b) Facilitating communication between all parties where required (c) Signposting to relevant support services Additional information: In order to provide unrestricted, full, direct and free of charge access to the Tender Documents the Authority is providing the Documents in PDF format in the 'Opportunities' Area of the ProContract e-Tendering portal, at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk In order to access amendable versions of the Documents and to submit a response, Applicants must be registered as Suppliers on ProContract. Applicants should then register an interest in the opportunity and download the Documents for completion and submission.
