Description

Ministry of Defence (MoD) (the "Contracting Authority") requires a Commercial Delivery Partner (CommDP) to address commercial, specialist and, on occasion, strategic resourcing needs within MoD Commercial functions. These will take a range of forms: a) Providing professional short-term commercial resources or commercial project teams to address needs however arising. This includes, but is not limited to, resource needs for major projects, surge demand, specialist (non-core) skillsets, hard-to-fill vacancies, and specific experience or ad-hoc capability. b) Seeking out, identifying, assessing and delivering, if approved, innovation and improvement opportunities within existing processes and ways of working that realise demonstrable savings / cost avoidance or otherwise help MoD Commercial functions be more effective and operate in a more efficient and effective way. Through discrete demands from the business, both to temporarily fill vacancies and undertake tasks identified by the business, the intention of the CommDP is to facilitate the delivery of "business as usual" activities whilst also identifying, scoping and delivering innovation across the MoD Commercial Function to make commercial operations more efficient and effective. The Contracting Authority's Top Level Budget holder is Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).
