Kitchen & Bathroom Replacement Programme - Phase 8 NOTE: This Contract Opportunity is Reserved This contract opportunity is reserved under the principles set out in PPN 11/20 "Reserving Below Threshold Contracts". The PPN permits the reserving of below threshold procurements by supplier location and/or in addition SME/VCSE to tackle economic inequality and support local recruitment, training, skills and investment. This contact opportunity is specifically reserved for response from Small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) suppliers.The definition of an SME is set out: The UK government definition of SMEs encompasses micro (less than 10 employees), small (less than 50 employees) and medium-sized (less than 250 employees) businesses. Hillingdon Council is seeking a suitably experienced SME contractor to deliver (as the sole main-contractor) a programme of kitchen replacements and/or bathroom replacements over an agreed programme period for circa 51 x occupied domestic dwellings in Hillingdon. (21 Kitchens and 30 Bathrooms). The proposed contract will be based upon a pre-determined basket of rates developed using the National Housing Maintenance Forum M3NHF Schedule of Rates version 7.1 including its long descriptions, the specifications of workmanship and materials and the relevant SOR rates for each element of the required works. The rates are to include for all preliminaries, overheads and profits. As part of their tender submission, contractors are required to tender a single percentage INCREASE or deduction adjustment to these basket rates as stipulated in the Pricing Schedule and enter this adjustment into the basket rates adjustment tab .
