The aim of this project is to enhance our understanding and detection of microbial and stygobitic species in groundwater ecosystems using environmental DNA \(eDNA\)\. The ultimate goal is to establish a reliable and efficient protocol for eDNA collection and analysis of microbes and stygobites, contributing to the broader understanding of biodiversity and health in groundwater ecosystems\.
