Laptops and Associated Bags

Direct Award in line with Crown Commercial Service's PPN 01/20 (Responding to COVID-19) and referenced Regulation 32 (2) (c) from the Public Contract Regulation 2015 for the provision of 300 Dell laptops and associated bags. This procurement has been made to ensure the Council continues to deliver critical and front-line services working from home or remotely in line with the Government's guidelines on working from home, wherever possible, and the aforementioned PPN. This is an urgent procurement to meet the shortage of end user devices (EUDs) for Leicestershire County Council (LCC) staff and front-line workers to deliver critical services during the COVID-19 crisis through home and remote site working.
