Description
The project involves refurbishment of a two-storey office building in Fareham. Whilst the building will be vacated during the course of the works, the contractor will be expected to proceed with all care and due diligence throughout the duration of the contract. Works will include but not be limited to the following: Building Works - Demolition/strip out works - Redecorations - Flooring replacement - Suspended ceiling replacement - Formation of new rooms - 2 No. Kitchen replacements - 1 No. cleaners cupboard - Internal door replacement - External door replacement - Fire Precaution Works - External maintenance works - New car park line marking Mechanical Works - Provision of mechanical extract ventilation to the toilet areas andkitchenettes. Existing ductwork shall be retained where practical but some systems will require entirely new ductwork installations. - The meeting room shall have fresh air heat recovery. - The existing ground and first floor toilet areas are to be remodelled and will require new domestic services. - The ground floor kitchen and first floor kitchenette will require modifications to the domestic services, including installation of hot water boilers and hot water heaters. - The existing shower room will be remodelled and converted to a cleaner's cupboard. - The existing electric radiators shall be stripped out and replaced with new electric radiators. - The comfort cooling unit and associated refrigeration pipework serving the existing first floor meeting room shall be decommissioned and stripped out. - The Mechanical contractor shall be responsible for stripping out redundant mechanical services and plant.
