## Description

DCRO have 2,500 Microfilms, including images from Church Registers, Newspapers, Electoral Registers, Cemetery Registers\. The Microfilms need digitising by a commercial provider ahead of the move to The Story\. They will need to be text searchable PDFs and feed into our cloud middleware \(currently being developed\)\. The primary objective of the contract is part of the transition to digital service delivery in the new history centre at The Story in Durham City, currently under construction\.
