The Department is running a sub OJEU Open Procurement for the services described. – (for which see ITT ref number 60277). Interested suppliers need to register on the BMS system if they have not done so already. Details of registration can be found on the attached instructions document and link provided. The Department of Health is seeking tenders for the monitoring and assistance with the delivery of a pilot scheme to work nationally with a range of local areas as pilot sites to design and test an effective operating model for Named Social Workers for people with learning disabilities or autism who may have mental health conditions. This will require Local Areas, with support from the successful organisation to innovate and test in practice key elements including the role, intended recipients, required support, processes, outputs and outcomes. This procurement exercise will be completed via the Authority's eTendering portal (BMS) and Potential Bidders wishing to be considered for this (or any other) Authority contract must submit their response via BMS https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/department-of-health/about/procurement The BMS reference number for this exercise is 60277 “My social worker”, Supporting the Management, Monitoring and Evaluation. Interested suppliers need to register on the BMS system if they have not done so already. Details of registration can be found on the attached document and link provided. The Department reserves the right to cancel or suspend this procurement exercise, and to not proceed to Contract. The Department will not be responsible for bid costs. DH reserves the right to extend the initial 6 month contract for further period(s) up to a maximum of an additional 6 months; conditional upon additional funding being identified and relevant approvals being in place. The estimated Contract value shown excludes any optional extension periods.
