Work description
The University of Southampton has received funding mostly from EPSRC for an upgrade to The Magnetic Resonance Research Facility.
The basis of the upgrade is as follows:
a) increase the capabilities and throughput of the facility in liquid-state NMR spectroscopy by installing a liquid-state NMR system operating at a proton Larmor frequency of at least 700 MHz.
b) replace legacy consoles on two 400 MHz NMR instruments with modern systems.
c) move one of the existing 400 MHz magnets together with the new console to a different location on the same floor in the same building.
