Review of the Number of Healthcare Regulators

Description

The current programme of work to reform the healthcare regulators' legislation creates an opportunity to consider whether the regulatory landscape could be simplified to provide better public protection in a more efficient way. The Department is therefore commissioning an independent review to make recommendations on whether the number of regulators should be reduced and how this might be achieved. For transparency purposes contract extended until 31/12/2021, total value of contract not increased from original published value
