563 - Walsall Mechanical Boiler Works

Aston University is seeking a suitable mechanical contractor to undertake the following works at its recreational centre in Walsall.

The project comprises the removal of the existing plant fittings including the cold water storage tank and cylinders and replacing the old condemned boiler with new fixed units. The contractor will be expected to liaise with the client direct contractors.

As the scheme is predominantly mechanical works Aston is seeking bids from mechanical contractors only who are capable of undertaking this work. Aston is not looking for a main contractor who will then sublet the mechanical work.
