Work description
The Borough Council of Calderdale invites you to submit a Tender for the refurbishment of the porte-cochere at Bankfield Museum. The purpose of the project is to restore the historical character to the main entrance, rectify some of the proximate building defects and create a more inviting and appealing main entrance for all visitors to the museum. The works will comprise the demolition of the 21st Century façade infills to the porte-cochere, external and internal refurbishment, including the installation of new wrought iron gates and railings, and the installation of new automated doors within the entrance. An accompanied site visit is a condition of tender and dates / time slots will be made available via the Messaging Portal.
