## Description

Sefton's SEND are looking to appoint an independent mediation company to facilitate mediation when families appeal our decisions in relation to their child / young persons EHCP\. Additional information: The value of the contract is £10,760 per year \(£21, 520 over two years\) based on 2023 / 2024 volume of mediations\. Up to £56,000 of expenditure per year \(£112,000 over two years\) has been allowed as part of this contract to account for a substantial increase in overall referrals and mediations requests in the first quarter of 2024 / 2025\.
